Image2: The Bank of China (BOC) Tower, Hong Kong (1985-1990)
BOC Tower designed by lM Pei (leoh Ming Pei) is a famous landmarks of Hong Kong. The growing of bamboo getting taller in sections inspired him. The Tower symoblises power, growth and eagerness to make progress. In terms of Feng Shui, the sharp edge of the triangular prisms gives a bad effect on the surrounding buildings.
This is the building that I like to draw the most when I was young. Usually buildings were in blocks when I drew the night view along the Tsim Sha Tsui and BOC Tower is the interesting impressive building among other buildings.
Image3: Tamarama Beach - Sculpture by the Sea
This photo was taken by me when my classmates and I walked along the coast (from Tamarama beach to Bondi beach). It was an energetic shot with beautiful scenery, capturing the movement on the beach: holidaymakers who were sunbathing, swimming, surfing and enjoying the sculptures created by participants.
Since I don't want to spend too much on furniture, I have bought a desk without a drawer. In order to be more convenient when working, I have made an "add-ons" using cardboard from the bought furniture: a "drawer" that can keep scrap paper, cables and stationary such as scissors, cutter. And to my surprise, the "drawer" is quite stable ( I m still using it) and can withstand a certain amount of weight. I have also used cardboard to make a bin and a coaster, creating the Cardboard Series! XD
